Yellow Mustard Easy (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base Ingredients

01 - 1 cup water
02 - ¾ cup powdered yellow mustard
03 - ½ cup white vinegar (distilled)

→ Optional Seasonings

04 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 1 teaspoon turmeric (use ¼ to ½ teaspoon for a subtler color)
06 - ¼ teaspoon cayenne or paprika (milder option for heat)
07 - ½ teaspoon salt, or adjust to your liking

# Instructions:

01 - In a medium-sized bowl, whisk your water, mustard powder, vinegar, and seasonings. Blend until no lumps remain and the mix is totally smooth.
02 - Pour your mix into a large pan or pot. Turn the heat up quickly to get a boil going. Then drop it to medium-low and stir it off and on for 10–15 minutes until you're happy with the thickness.
03 - Take the pan off the heat and let it cool all the way down. Then put it into a container that seals tightly and store in the fridge. It'll keep thickening after cooling.

# Notes:

01 - Thickness depends on how much heat you use and what texture you like.
02 - This homemade yellow mustard is easy to make, plus you can tweak the flavor and spiciness.
