Vanilla Honey Banana (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Bread Base

01 - 1 tablespoon vanilla extract or paste (pure)
02 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
03 - 3 medium or 2 large bananas, mashed (roughly 1 1/2 cups)
04 - 2 eggs
05 - 1/3 cup melted unsalted butter
06 - 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
07 - 1/2 cup honey
08 - 1/4 cup milk
09 - 1/2 teaspoon salt

→ Optional Additions

10 - Chocolate chips
11 - Sliced banana for the top
12 - Nuts (crushed)
13 - Peanut butter glaze or icing

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 325°F (165°C) and get an 8½ x 4½ inch loaf pan oiled up or lined with parchment.
02 - Grab a big bowl. Stir the melted butter and honey together until smooth. Add in the mashed bananas, eggs, milk, and vanilla, then mix it all up really well.
03 - In another bowl, blend together your flour, salt, and baking soda.
04 - Pour the wet stuff into the dry mixture. Gently fold it all together. Go easy—don’t overdo it or the bread might get tough.
05 - Transfer the batter into your ready-to-go loaf pan. If you'd like, sprinkle some nuts, banana slices, chocolate pieces, or anything else fun on top.
06 - Put the pan in the oven and bake for 50–55 minutes. It’s ready when a toothpick poked in the center pulls out clean.
07 - Let the loaf sit in the pan for about 15 minutes. Then pop it out onto a cooling rack and give it at least 30 minutes to fully cool before you cut into it.

# Notes:

01 - This version gets its sweetness naturally from honey and bananas—no processed sugar needed.
02 - The ripest bananas with brown dots work best for maximum flavor.
