Set your oven to 325°F (165°C) and get an 8½ x 4½ inch loaf pan oiled up or lined with parchment.

Grab a big bowl. Stir the melted butter and honey together until smooth. Add in the mashed bananas, eggs, milk, and vanilla, then mix it all up really well.

In another bowl, blend together your flour, salt, and baking soda.

Pour the wet stuff into the dry mixture. Gently fold it all together. Go easy—don’t overdo it or the bread might get tough.

Transfer the batter into your ready-to-go loaf pan. If you'd like, sprinkle some nuts, banana slices, chocolate pieces, or anything else fun on top.

Put the pan in the oven and bake for 50–55 minutes. It’s ready when a toothpick poked in the center pulls out clean.

Let the loaf sit in the pan for about 15 minutes. Then pop it out onto a cooling rack and give it at least 30 minutes to fully cool before you cut into it.
