Aloo Palak Potato Spinach (Impression)

This comforting Indian dish has potatoes and spinach cooked up with cumin, coriander, turmeric, and plenty of flavor-packed spices.

01 - 285g (10 oz) bag of chopped spinach, fresh or frozen
02 - 1/2 inch piece of ginger, grated
03 - 4 garlic cloves, minced
04 - 1 onion, chopped finely
05 - 1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds
06 - 2 tablespoons of cooking oil
07 - 3 medium-sized potatoes, peeled and diced

08 - A pinch of salt, or as needed
09 - 1 teaspoon paprika
10 - 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
11 - 1 teaspoon cumin powder
12 - 2 teaspoons coriander powder

# Étapes de préparation:

01 - Pour oil into a big pan and warm it over medium heat. Toss in the cumin seeds and let them crackle. Mix in the onions and cook for about 3 minutes until soft.
02 - Throw in the minced garlic and grated ginger. Stir for about a minute, making sure nothing sticks or burns.
03 - Mix in the ground spices—coriander, paprika, turmeric, and cumin. Let the mixture cook together to create a warm, fragrant base.
04 - Toss the spinach into the pan. Stir often and cook until it wilts down, about 2 minutes.
05 - In a big pot, simmer the potatoes in water for roughly 15 minutes until they’re soft. Drain and let them sit.
06 - Add some salt to the mix. Gently stir in the cooked potatoes and let everything sit together for a few minutes so the flavors come together.
