Spicy Chicken Thighs (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - 1/4 cup buffalo sauce
02 - 4 chicken thighs

→ Spice Rub

03 - 1 teaspoon chili powder
04 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
05 - 1 teaspoon salt
06 - 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
07 - 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
08 - 1 teaspoon baking powder
09 - 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
10 - 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Stir all spice rub ingredients together in a bowl until they’re combined completely.
02 - Dry off the chicken thighs using a paper towel. Cover every part of the chicken with the spice rub you just made.
03 - Set your air fryer or oven to 190°C (375°F) to heat up.
04 - Place chicken thighs in the air fryer with the skin facing down. Cook for 12 minutes. Flip them over so the skin faces up, and let them cook another 12-14 minutes until fully done.
05 - For the oven, arrange chicken thighs skin side up on a baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through. Don’t flip the chicken so the skin stays crispy.
06 - After the chicken’s done, either pour buffalo sauce over it or mix the thighs into the sauce to coat them completely—it’s up to you.

# Notes:

01 - Make sure the chicken’s skin is dry before adding the spice rub—it makes it crispier.
02 - Using baking powder in the rub helps the skin get extra crispy while it cooks.
