Stir all spice rub ingredients together in a bowl until they’re combined completely.

Dry off the chicken thighs using a paper towel. Cover every part of the chicken with the spice rub you just made.

Set your air fryer or oven to 190°C (375°F) to heat up.

Place chicken thighs in the air fryer with the skin facing down. Cook for 12 minutes. Flip them over so the skin faces up, and let them cook another 12-14 minutes until fully done.

For the oven, arrange chicken thighs skin side up on a baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through. Don’t flip the chicken so the skin stays crispy.

After the chicken’s done, either pour buffalo sauce over it or mix the thighs into the sauce to coat them completely—it’s up to you.
