Grab a medium bowl and stir together the chia seeds, cocoa powder, and just a tiny bit of salt.

Add your plant-based milk bit by bit while you keep stirring. This stops lumps and makes everything nice and smooth.

Stir in the agave nectar or maple syrup until it's all mixed up. Give it a taste and add more sweetener if you want.

Put a lid or some plastic wrap on the bowl and stick it in the fridge for at least 4 hours or leave it overnight. The chia seeds need time to soak up the liquid and get pudding-thick.
