Beef Cheese Pie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 pound pizza dough
02 - ¼ cup tomato pizza base

→ Toppings

03 - 6-8 ounces thin-sliced beef
04 - 6 ounces shredded mozzarella
05 - ½ green bell pepper, diced
06 - ½ white onion, diced
07 - 4 ounces Provolone, cut into pieces
08 - ½ cup melted Cheez Whiz

→ Seasonings

09 - ½ teaspoon table salt
10 - ½ teaspoon ground pepper
11 - ½ teaspoon herbs from Italy
12 - Snipped chives for topping

→ Homemade Pizza Dough (Optional)

13 - 3 cups high-gluten flour
14 - 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
15 - 1 tablespoon coarse salt
16 - 2 teaspoons dry yeast
17 - 2 tablespoons oil from olives
18 - 1 ¼ cup tepid water
19 - Spare flour for working surface

# Instructions:

01 - Get your oven hot at 500˚F (260°C).
02 - Flatten your pizza dough and fit it onto a 16-inch round tray.
03 - Smear tomato base all over the dough evenly. Feel free to add more if you want.
04 - Sprinkle mozzarella, scatter the peppers, onions, and beef strips on top. Shake on salt, pepper, and Italian herbs.
05 - Pop it in the oven for 8-10 minutes until the edges turn golden and meat looks done.
06 - Take it out, scatter provolone pieces over everything, then stick it back in until cheese bubbles and crust gets crunchy.
07 - Pour warm Cheez Whiz in zigzags and scatter fresh chives on top.
08 - Slice into pieces and enjoy while it's still steaming.
