01 -
In a large mixing bowl, add ground meat, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, eggs, milk, Parmesan, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and dried herbs. Stir gently until evenly incorporated without overmixing.
02 -
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a loaf pan. Shape the mixture into an oval mound, then use the back of a spoon or a knife to create curved indentations, simulating brain folds across the surface.
03 -
Spread ketchup or tomato sauce evenly over the formed meat shape. Drizzle barbecue sauce into the indentations for added depth and realistic color.
04 -
Place in preheated oven and bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C). Halfway through, reapply ketchup or sauce if needed to maintain a glossy surface.
05 -
Garnish with sliced olives or bell peppers to create eyes. Optionally, drizzle additional ketchup or hot sauce around the plate for thematic presentation. Allow to rest 5 to 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
