Golden Halloumi Honey Thyme (Impression)

Crispy halloumi meets sweet honey and thyme for a simple, yet irresistible appetizer or snack.

02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil

03 - 2 tablespoons honey
04 - 1 tablespoon fresh thyme or 1 teaspoon dried thyme
05 - 1 teaspoon lemon juice
06 - 1 teaspoon water

07 - Fresh thyme sprigs
08 - Crushed walnuts or pecans (optional)

# Étapes de préparation:

01 - Cut halloumi into 1.25 cm thick slices.
02 - Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Place halloumi slices in the pan and cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side until golden and crisp.
03 - In a small saucepan, combine honey, lemon juice, and water over low heat. Stir gently until smooth and warmed through. If desired, add some fresh thyme leaves for additional aroma.
04 - Arrange fried halloumi on a serving platter. Drizzle evenly with warm honey thyme glaze. Garnish with fresh thyme and optional crushed walnuts or pecans.
