In a skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef. Season with salt and pepper, then add minced garlic and cook until fragrant. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.

Mix cooled ground beef with shredded cheddar cheese until evenly combined.

On a clean surface, roll out biscuit or pizza dough and cut into 3-inch squares.

Spoon a portion of the beef and cheese filling onto the center of each dough square, then fold the corners and pinch to seal, forming a smooth ball.

Place sealed balls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Mix melted butter with minced garlic and brush over each dough ball, then sprinkle with grated parmesan and chopped parsley if desired.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 18 minutes or until golden brown.
