Using a meat mallet, pound the flank steak to an even thickness of approximately 1/2 inch.

Evenly spread the softened cream cheese over the surface of the steak.

Sprinkle garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper evenly over the cream cheese. Layer the spinach leaves and grated Parmesan cheese on top.

Roll the steak tightly from one short end to the other, enclosing the filling. Secure the roll with kitchen twine or toothpicks at regular intervals.

Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Place the steak seam side down and sear for about 3 minutes per side, until golden brown.

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until the steak is cooked to desired doneness.
