Delicious Cherry Pie Bites (Printable View)

Mini cherry bites with golden crescent dough and sweet glaze for a delightful treat.

# Ingredient List:

→ For the cherry bites

01 - 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
02 - 2 tubes (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough

→ For the glaze

03 - 1 cup confectioners’ sugar, sifted
04 - 1 to 2 tablespoons milk

# Preparation Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a standard muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray to prevent sticking and facilitate easy release after baking.
02 - Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into triangles. Place each triangle into a muffin tin cavity with the widest part at the bottom, gently pressing to form a well for the filling.
03 - Spoon approximately 3 to 4 heaping tablespoons of cherry pie filling into each dough-lined muffin cup, allowing for a slight overflow.
04 - Gently fold the corners of the dough over the cherry filling to partially enclose. Bake in the center of the preheated oven for 13 to 14 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
05 - While the cherry bites bake, whisk together sifted confectioners’ sugar and milk in a small bowl until smooth. Adjust milk to achieve desired drizzle consistency.
06 - Remove baked bites from oven and cool slightly. Spoon glaze over the warm cherry bites for even coverage. Serve warm.

# Supplementary Details:

01 - Allow the bites to cool briefly before glazing to prevent the icing from melting completely off the surface.
