# Preparation Steps:

01 - Place a bowl or container with a 6-cup capacity into the freezer to chill before use.
02 - Roughly chop circus animal cookies on a cutting board. Reserve approximately 1/2 cup of chopped cookies and a few whole cookies for garnish.
03 - In a large bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and chopped cookies (excluding reserved cookies).
04 - In a separate large bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
05 - Gently fold approximately 1 cup of whipped cream into the condensed milk mixture. Carefully fold in the rest of the whipped cream until just incorporated.
06 - Divide the mixture in half. Add several drops of pink food coloring to one half, folding gently until a soft pastel pink color is achieved.
07 - Retrieve the chilled container. Add a layer of uncolored base, followed by a sprinkle of nonpareils and optional cookie pieces. Layer the pink base and additional sprinkles. Repeat, alternating colors and adding sprinkles, until all mixture is used. Run a knife through the layers a few times to create a swirl pattern, being careful not to overmix.
08 - Top with reserved chopped and whole cookies and an additional layer of nonpareil sprinkles for decoration. Place the container in the freezer and freeze for 4 to 6 hours, or until completely firm.
09 - Scoop the ice cream into bowls and serve immediately.
