# Preparation Steps:

01 - In a medium saucepan, mix the granulated sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder, whole milk, and unsalted butter.
02 - Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring mixture to a boil, stirring constantly.
03 - Once boiling, allow to cook for 5 minutes undisturbed.
04 - Remove from heat and add vanilla extract and chocolate chips, stirring until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is smooth.
05 - If desired, gently fold in chopped nuts until evenly distributed.
