Place hot dog buns closely together in the prepared baking pan.

Spread mustard, ketchup, and relish to taste on the bottom of each bun.

Place one hot dog inside each prepared bun.

Spoon approximately 1/3 cup chili over each hot dog, then sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and diced onion evenly over the top.

Cover the baking pan with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
