01 -
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
02 -
Allow pizza dough to come to room temperature. Lightly dust the work surface with all-purpose flour. Divide the dough into 10 even portions.
03 -
Roll each dough piece into an 8-inch long rope, forming bulbous ends to mimic bone shapes. With scissors, snip each end approximately 1 inch deep and separate gently.
04 -
Place the dough shapes on the prepared baking sheets, ensuring space between each piece.
05 -
Brush each breadstick with melted butter and evenly sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
06 -
Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until breadsticks begin to puff and turn light golden.
07 -
Remove breadsticks from oven. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and return to oven for 5 to 7 minutes, until cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
08 -
Allow to cool slightly before serving warm alongside marinara sauce.
