01 -
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
02 -
In a medium bowl, beat softened cream cheese and 1/4 cup sugar until creamy. Add 1 egg and mix until smooth. Set aside.
03 -
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
04 -
In a separate bowl, mix melted butter, 1 cup sugar, and 2 eggs until well combined. Stir in vanilla extract.
05 -
Gradually fold the wet mixture into the dry ingredients until just incorporated. Do not overmix; a few lumps are acceptable.
06 -
Gently fold blueberries into the batter.
07 -
Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan. Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over the batter. Spoon remaining batter on top, smoothing gently.
08 -
Bake at 350°F for 60 to 70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. If necessary, tent with foil if top browns too quickly.
09 -
Remove from oven and allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Transfer loaf to a wire rack to cool completely.
